Just Hear Those Sleigh Bells Jingling

Hey guys,


Serious lack of posting on my part since I started the blog, everything just goes up on twitter (I have a slight huge addiction to it).  Been super busy lately with class trying to get all my case studies finished.  Thank god I got everything completed last night so don't need to worry about it anymore.  Last friday we had a bit of a fun day as there were only two of us in class.  We did a themed bridal look which turned into a bit of an experimental mess, everything turned out well in the end.  I did a Lady Gaga themed bride.. Think a take on Gaga and Beyonce's makeup in the telephone video.  This was the result.  What do you guys think? Hopefully the girl wont mind me putting her face up here.

Today in class we did spray tanning.  Me being me was shameless and stripped down to my knickers, rolled them down and had them stuck up my bottom.  Other than that I was starkers in a room with two of my teachers and seven other girls.  Afterwards everyone got over their insecurities and people stopped caring.  It was so much fun and a great thing to learn how to spray.  All the girls are so lovely and we were all so comfortable with each other at the end of the day.  I just realised I probably sound like some kind of pervert saying how fun it was but if you were in the same situation you'd realise the only thing to do is laugh and get on with it.  only problem with the tan is I now STINK and can't wash it off until tomorrow if I want it to last.  Normally I wouldn't mind, but my boyfriend is coming over later so he'll have to deal with the smell of me lucky him).

Day Off!!

Hello lovelies,

Just a quick post to brag about having a day off.  It's such a nice feeling to know I don't have to go to work or class today.  The only commitments I have are going to the dentist for a post-op appointment after my wisdom teeth removal, then I get to come home and eat lots of treats and see my boyfriend.  My bedroom got to the point where it looked like a bomb went off in it, so I just lashed everything into my wardrobes and pretended it looked clean.  I should really get a start on that too.

I recently started a professional make-up artistry class and am LOVING it!! I'll be (hopefully) qualified in May and then fingers crossed get a good job.  We practice on each other in class and my poor skin is breaking out terribly from all the makeup and cleansing.  Also using makeup my skin is not used to is making my eczema bad (boooo).  Anyone know any tips or products for keeping my skin moisturised and helping with the breakouts?

Anyhoo I'm off to have a bowl (or three) of lucky charms and a cup of tea.  The joys of having breakfast this late is amazing.
